There is a difference between a rated ac breaker and a dc breaker. You can use a dc breaker in an acapplication but do not use an ac breaker in a dc application. This may cause a fire and possibly as hock hazard. Ac has a zero crossing where dc is always on.
Why does it have a neg and positive marking.. .usually you just interrupt the positive in this case with single pole?
Yes, usually you just interrupt the positive with single pole. DC is directional, so by marking positive and negative poles, and wiring according to the markings, you will clear that the DC direction is from circuit breaker bottom to top, which is easy to maintain.
